Kia Carens EV : Kia is in the process of introducing the electric variant of its family vehicle, the Carens.

The new Kia Carens EV has been observed multiple times during its testing phase. Significant design modifications are anticipated compared to the petrol variant.
Distinctive features will include a revamped grille, bonnet, bumper, and wheels, setting it apart from the existing petrol model. Additionally, the EV logo will be prominently displayed on various sections of the vehicle.
Carens EV will be equipped with Level 2 ADAS
The upcoming Carens EV will be equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) as part of the Anti-lock Braking System, six airbags, brake assist, Electric Power Steering (EPS), and three-point seat belts.
Furthermore, the vehicle’s structure will utilize high-strength steel to ensure maximum safety for occupants in the event of a collision.
Kia is expected to launch the new Carens EV in India this year, with a projected price around Rs 20 lakh.
Range yet to know
While the company has not disclosed specific details regarding the battery and range of the new Carens EV, sources suggest it may feature a larger battery pack.
It is anticipated that the vehicle could achieve a range of up to 500 kilometers on a single charge and will likely support DC fast charging capabilities.
