Under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana, food grains like wheat and rice are being provided to the needy families by the Central Government. At the same time, rations are also being given according to each member of every family.
In order to curb the black marketing of food grains, the government has made it mandatory for ration card holders to get e-KYC done.
Get e-KYC done by December 31 or else the ration card will be canceled
Those who have not yet done e-KYC can get e-KYC done by visiting their nearest PDS shop or Vasudha center. For this, the last date has been fixed by the government level at 31 December.
Action can be taken to cancel the ration card of the eligible beneficiary who does not get e-KYC done within the stipulated time limit. In such a situation, they will be deprived of the ration received from the government.
Earlier, the last date was 30 November
Earlier, the last date for completion of e-KYC was September 30. After this, the deadline was extended to 30 November, but now it has been extended again to 31 December.
In this regard, District Supply Officer Seema Kumari said that to ensure transparency in ration distribution, consumers are getting their Aadhaar number registered in ration cards.
Through e-KYC, the name, date of birth, and gender of the person entered in the ration card are being done according to the data recorded in Aadhaar.
To link the ration card eKYC Aadhaar, you have to go to your nearest PDS shop or Vasudha center. There you have to show your ration card and Aadhaar card. After this, your eKYC process will be completed.
