Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition : Bajaj Auto has launched a new edition of the Chetak electric scooter in its electric two-wheeler portfolio. The company has named it Chetak 3201.
It is claimed that it can run 136km on full charge. The Bajaj Chetak 3201 Special Edition scooter is based on its top-spec premium variant. The company has also changed its look and it is available only in Brooklyn Black color.

Talking about the special features of this scooter, it has got IP 67 rating, which makes it water resistant. At the same time, features like Bluetooth connectivity, Chetak app, color TFT display instrument cluster, auto hazard light have been included in it.
It comes with disc brakes, alloy wheels, LED lighting, telescopic front suspension, metal body panel and battery with IP67 waterproofing.
For braking, drum brakes are fitted on both sides. It has turn-by-turn navigation, music control, call alert and colored TFT display with customizable theme, follow me home light and Bluetooth app connectivity.

Talking about specification then, the company has not made any changes in the design of this electric scooter. It will come with a steel body. The special edition of this electric scooter has ‘Chetak’ decals on the side panel, scuff plate and dual-tone seat.
It has body colored rear view mirror, a satin black grab rail and matching pillion footrest and charcoal black finish to headlamp casing. It also gets hill-hold control and an extra ‘Sport’ ride mode as part of the Tech pack software package.

Talking about battery then, It gets a 3.2kWh battery pack, which gives a range of 136Km on a full charge. It takes 5.30 hours to get fully charged.
This is more than the range of 127Km of the current premium model. The top speed of this electric scooter is 73kmph. It will compete with electric scooters like Ather Rizta Z, Ola S1 Pro and TVS i-Cube.

Talking about its price, then its ex-showroom price has been fixed at Rs 1.30 lakh. This price is with the EMPS-2024 scheme.
This is the introductory price, which will later become Rs 1.40 lakh. The special thing is that customers will also be able to buy it from the e-commerce platform Amazon.
