An external battery pack will be given in Creta EV, which will be under its floor. It is believed that this may affect the ground clearance of the SUV. It is expected that a 45kWh battery pack can be given in this electric car, which will be made by Exide. At the same time, its electric motor can be like Kona EV. Hyundai Creta EV will come with a single motor option.
Design
The front of the electric car will have a close grille, which is being given in most EVs nowadays. Talking about the side profile, the EV will be very similar to the current Creta model. A charging port will be given in the front of the car. There will be a difference in the wheels between the petrol and electric models of Creta.
The EV will be given wheels with aerodynamic design. At the rear, it will have LED taillamps and LED connecting bars. The design of its bumper will be similar to the current Creta model.
Price
The electric Creta is expected to be launched in the Indian market next year. After launch, it will compete with cars like Tata Harrier EV, Tata Curve and Maruti EVX. Its ex-showroom price is expected to be between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 28 lakh.
