Tata Nexon CNG : Tata Motors on Tuesday announced the launch of the CNG edition of its popular compact SUV Tata Nexon. Apart from this, the company also launched the new 45 kWh battery pack and flagship Red Hot DARK edition in the Nexon.EV range.
The starting ex-showroom price of the CNG edition of Tata Nexon is Rs 8.99 lakh. According to the company, with these new features, India’s best-selling SUV Tata Nexon has become the first and only vehicle in India that is available in 4 different powertrains – petrol, diesel, CNG and electric.
The starting ex-showroom price of the car with the new 45 kWh battery pack in the Nexon.EV range is Rs 13.99 lakh.
Nexon iCNG, India’s first turbocharged CNG vehicle
Nexon iCNG brings India’s first turbocharged CNG powertrain. The 1.2L turbocharged engine in it produces 100PS of power and 170NM of torque, which does not compromise on performance.
The Nexon iCNG offers a segment-leading boot space of 321 liters. The Nexon iCNG also has premium and comfort features like a panoramic sunroof, leatherette ventilated seats and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen by Harman™, along with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster.
According to the company, these features make the Nexon iCNG the most luxurious CNG SUV in the Indian market. It also offers direct start in CNG mode and a single ECU that enables automatic switching between petrol and CNG.

The Nexon.ev electric edition with a 45kWh battery pack offers a range of 489 km (urban + extra urban) and the Tata.ev C75 has a real-world range of 350-370 km.
