Vivo V40 Pro, Vivo V40 : Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched a new phone, Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40, in India for its Indian customers. Both these phones were in the news for a long time. Both the phones have been launched under the latest V series.
These are upgrades of the Vivo V30 series. The phone has a 50-megapixel front camera. The Vivo V40 series has a Zeiss-branded rear camera and a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. So let us tell you in detail about both the smartphones.
Vivo V40 Pro, Vivo V40 Price
The Vivo V40 Pro smartphone has been introduced with two variants. The price of the 8GB + 256GB variant has been fixed at Rs 49,999, while the price of the 12GB + 512GB variant is Rs 55,999.
It will be available in Ganga Blue and Titanium Grey shades. The sale of the phone will start on August 13.The Vivo V40 smartphone has been launched in India with three variants. The price of 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage of the smartphone is Rs 34,999.
At the same time, the price of 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM storage variants is Rs 36,999 and Rs 41,999, respectively. The smartphone will be available for pre-booking with Ganga Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey colours, and the smartphone will go on sale on August 19.
Vivo V40 Pro, Vivo V40 Specifications
Both Vivo V40 Pro and Vivo V40 smartphones work on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. The smartphone has a 6.78-inch full-HD + (1,260×2,800 pixels) AMOLED display, which has a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Vivo V40 Pro 4nm smartphone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip as the processor. The handset comes with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.
On the other hand, the Vivo V40 4nm handset works on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC chip. The smartphone comes with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.The Vivo V40 Pro has a triple rear camera setup for photography.
The camera setup has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor with autofocus and OIS support. Whereas, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 telephoto portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom have been provided.
The Vivo V40 smartphone has a dual rear camera setup with Zeiss, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera. While for selfies and video calling, both handsets have a 50-megapixel front camera.
Both smartphones have 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. Both handsets are claimed to have an IP68-rated build.
Both Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro have a 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. The Pro model measures 164.3×75.1×7.5mm and weighs 192 grams. Whereas, the standard model measures 164×74.9×7.5mm and weighs 190 grammes.
