Xiaomi”s 14T Series: The Ultimate Budget Flagship Showdown

We have revealed the specifications and price range of both phones ahead of their launch. AccoA report suggests that the brand is presently developing the Xiaomi 14T series, slated to comprise two models: the Xiaomi 14T and the Xiaomi 14T PThe NBTC has certified both devices, and Geekbench has also featured them.  the leak shared by Dealabs, which includes full specifications and pricing, they are rumored to be launched in September.

According to the Dealabs report, the Xiaomi 14T will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2712×1220 pixels) resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This display panel is capable of 700 nits in normal brightness, 1600 nits in high brightness mode, and up to 4000 nits when watching HDR content.

The panel reportedly has full coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. It is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and comes with AI auto-brightness, AI video with local mapping, AI adaptive colors, AI touch control, and AI care.

The Dimensity 8300-Ultra processor, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, powers the phone, according to the report. It will come with pre-loaded Android 14 and pack a 5000mAh battery. The phone is also waterproof with an IP68 rating and weighs 195 grams.

Xiaomi 14T will have a powerful camera

The Xiaomi 14T has a Leica-branded triple camera setup, which includes a LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.7-2.2/15-50 ASPH lens. The phone has a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens with OIS, which has a 1/1.56″ IMX906 sensor, 1.0µm pixels that can combine into 2.0µm super-pixels, 23mm equivalent focal length, f/1.62 aperture, and autofocus.

The second camera is a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 0.64µm pixels, 60mm equivalent focal length, 2.6x optical zoom, and up to 4x zoom equivalent to 100mm, with f/1.98 aperture, 5P lens, and autofocus. The third camera is a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens with 1.12µm pixels, 15mm equivalent focal length, 120° field of view, and f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, the phone includes a 32-megapixel front camera with 0.64µm pixels.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro’s Basic Specifications

The Pro model uses the same 6.67-inch 1.5K display as the vanilla 14T, with features like 144Hz refresh rate, 4000 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. According to reports, the Pro model boasts a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, complemented by 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The report also states that it will have the same 5000mAh battery, but it will also have support for 50W wireless charging. This phone is also waterproof with an IP68 rating.

According to reports, the Xiaomi 14T Pro model will feature a Leica triple camera setup, featuring a Leica VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.6-2.2/15-60 ASPH lens. The main camera will be a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens with OIS support, using a 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor. It has 1.2µm pixels that can combine into 2.4µm super-pixels, 23mm equivalent focal length, up to 2x optical zoom (46mm), f/1.62 aperture, and autofocus.

The second camera is a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 0.64µm pixels, 60mm equivalent focal length, 2.6x zoom, and up to 5x optical zoom (120mm), with f/1.98 aperture, 5P lens, and autofocus. The third camera is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 1.12µm pixels, 15mm equivalent focal length, 120° field of vision, and f/2.2 aperture. For selfies on the front, there is a 32-megapixel lens with 0.64µm pixels.

This will be the price for different variants

Existing leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 14T will retail for €649 (roughly Rs 60 thousand), and the 14T Pro for €899 (roughly Rs 83 thousand). We anticipate the global launch of these phones in September, as previously mentioned.
